This was an amazing show and I was so excited to cover it. I was trying hard to focus on taking photos and being in the front of the stage rocking out. Balance was amazing, and Manchester Orchestra was incredible as to be expected. Both bands bring so much raw energy to the live shows that they’re inflections between the loud-quiet-loud is magnified 10 fold. They both brought down the house down with their here-comes-the-drop moments (especially with Manchester’s “Cope”) of distorted rock bliss.

Where Have You Been

Manchester ended their encore with a magical rendition of ‘Where Have You Been’ where they full bore maniacal rocking in the middle of the song and jam for a good 5 minutes at full volume. Then they bring it down to have the whole venue singing along “Woah/Where Have You Been” until they said goodnight and walked off stage.
