Their debut album, ‘Yours To Defend’, realeased October 28th.
Having managed to kick up quite the fuss with the release of their debut self-titled EP in Spring last year, including appearances at the Download, Sonisphere, T In The Park and Slam Dunk festivals, shows alongside Funeral For A Friend, Don Broco and Arcane Roots, and support from Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Metal Hammer, Radio 1, XFM and Scuzz under their belts, ACODA have become real contenders amongst a flourishing UK metal movement.

Now, with their debut full length album ‘Yours To Defend’, produced by Dan Lancaster (Lower Than Atlantis, Don Broco, Mallory Knox), the hard working DIY quartet are back in the ring for round two and have some heavy blows in their arsenal.
“We’re on a mission to connect with music lovers who want to bang their heads and scream their hearts out, the same way we do!” says singer and guitarist, Damon Tang. Speaking of the album’s subject matters, he says, “Lyrically, the record’s a bit of a social commentary. I feel very lucky and I don’t want to feel sorry for myself over small things.” He continues, “That said, I worry about the way the world seems to be going. There’s violence caused by miscommunication, mistrust, ignorance and deceit. In some parts, I’m being sarcastic/satirical… indifferent even. Things look pretty bleak, but I still feel like I can make a difference, however naive it may seem.”
