Alone ArchitectJeff Feldman is poised to launch his ambitious solo project Alone Architect. Since seeing mild success as the bass player of alt. prog-rock band Pulse Ultra (1997-2004) Jeff  went to play bass and keyboard live for a few years in the group Elsiane (as in Elsieanne Caplette who is featured on the album). Feldman has now re-emerged, and transformed identity into an enigma of ethereal and electronic textures to create: Alone Architect.

For Fans of: Massive Attack, Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, Fever Ray

For an in-depth interview on who and what Alone Architect is, read our interview we did with Jeff back in June.

As a first time producer, the album features Jeff singing, and putting his vocals through a synthesizer on the tracks “Moth To A Flame” and A Lullaby A Tragedy”. The album also features guest vocals from french singer Elsieanne Caplette  the tracks “The Incision”, and “These Passages”, and Angela Boismenu on the foreboding “Not Alone”. Each track denotes a new chapter in a story of progression and evolution, finding comfort in the dis-harmony that surrounds you.  It’s a that is rich with haunting, mesmerizing sounds and pulsing rhythms that seek to summon buried emotions.

Jeff had this to say about the album in a press release:

“I see this record as being akin to a film or even a novel. There is a definite mood to it. And there’s a narrative that is being told, with different voices or characters; from different perspectives. But they all serve the purpose of propelling the story and of enhancing the music”, says Feldman. “There are so many possibilities out there and a never ending pool of inspiration. In my mind, I’m already 500 steps ahead and this is only the beginning!”

The album stretches the imagination and provides a breath of fresh air from the stagnant clouds that surround the airwaves. It’s worth experiencing, you may even enjoy it. Have a listen:
