Thus, whenever I am able to speak with other folks who work in the medium I leap at the chance. As such, the offer to speak with Ross about his struggles, the creation of such a stirring set of songs and the possibility to shine a Read More ...

We were recently afforded the opportunity to review Session 606′s most recent EP, Martyr Dispatch (which we did here), and were instantly impressed by its (to quote myself), “splendid blend of progressive and synth-rock elements coupled with intoxicating melodies and poignant lyrics.” In fact, I was intrigued enough that I decided to have a little chat with the man behind Session, Anthony Masington, to get further insight into the music Read More ...
RATING: 9.5/10 For Fans Of: Ultraspank, Sevendust, Deftones, Spineshank This is the Lo-Pro album we’ve all been waiting for. One of the more refreshing aspects of being involved with AmpKicker is the quantity of transnational submissions we have been attracting since our inception. For a duo of insular Americans, it’s refreshing to get a taste of what’s going on abroad in a musical sense. It is by the good grace of the internet and attentive PR reps that we are subsequently able to diversify your palates as well, dear Read More ...
Rating: 8/10 One thing painfully obvious to any avowed music aficionado is that trends are anomalies. They’re nearly impossible to predict, and it seems like divine intervention when someone kicks off a movement that drastically alters the landscape of the music industry. Nirvana didn’t set out to destroy 80′s Metal… it just happened by virtue of the strength of their songwriting and arriving at a perfect interval where a Read More ...
